Improving pelvic pain across the UK

We are the UK’s leading network for pelvic pain physios, connecting and developing clinicians to deliver evidence-informed care for people with pelvic pain.

The Pelvic Pain Network is the UK’s professional community dedicated to improving physiotherapy for people with pelvic pain.

Founded by Advanced Practice Pelvic Health Physiotherapists and Clinical Academics Virginia Rivers Bulkeley and Jilly Bond.

Built on nearly 40 years of combined experience in clinical practice, research, and education, the Pelvic Pain Network was created to bring clinicians together around a shared commitment to improve pelvic pain care. Our mission is to support physiotherapists, improve care across the UK, and translate new evidence into everyday practice worldwide.

Join us for:

  • Clinical mentoring programmes

  • Educational webinars and study days

  • Research update symposiums connecting clinicians with researchers

  • A national community of specialist physios

Through shared knowledge and collaboration, we are increasing access to high-quality pelvic pain care across the UK.

  • "This is honestly the best training I have ever done. Pitched at the right level, managed very effectively and discussions were rich and inclusive. I do wonder if the mentoring would feel more effective with one of the 6 sessions being a face to face - to be able to meet each other properly and forge stronger connections but appreciate this is time and money for all involved. "

  • "Really enjoyed the group dynamic. It felt very safe, and I felt confident to ask questions or to sound ideas to the group without judgement. I also enjoyed being pushed for answers - a nice confidence boost for my own knowledge and problem solving abilities."

  • "Have loved the whole process; the longer time frame to accumulate and process knowledge as opposed to a weekend course has been amazing and I feel so much more confident in my role. It doesn't mean i won't have difficult cases but I feel like the 'heart sink' is much more manageable and feel confident that it is ok to keep it simple! Thank you Jilly and V for doing this."
