Pain Science Education for Persistent Pelvic Pain; our favourite resources.

If you are living with pelvic pain or supporting those who do, here are our favourite pain information sources.

It can be hard to find reliable information online from sources that you can trust. So we’re sharing our trusted sources and favourite resources that we use in clinic when we’re having conversations about pain that persists and exploring how we can make gentle changes to take back control.

You’ll notice that some of these resources were created specifically for those with pelvic pain and others are tools for any pain that persists. But they are all resources that we have used in our clinics to support people living with pelvic pain and have been desribed as really helpfull. We would always suggest that the information shared here is discussed with your healthcare provider.

“I wish I knew then what I know now”

Let’s kick off with the important words of those who are now feeling better, who shared their thoughts on what they wish they’d known when they were in pain with researcher Dr Amelia Mardon (2024):
